How do you manage your projects
Any project manager operates four variables: expenditure, timing, time and producing a satisfactory result. A more ambitious goal is to enchance business organization and resource distribution. Look at your project and you will notice that it needs people, funds and tools to deliver needed outcomes. To supervise projects effectively one need to handle several factors. A few of them are listed below:
- Task setting and reviewing achievement.
- Dealing with risk. Most have a this or that degree of risk.
- Assigning and supervising resources.
- Defining the results of the project.
- Managing what is going on: giving out tasks, controlling the work-in-progress.
- Assuaring adequate quality.
- Handling instability. Change is constant. Most projects develop in time, so the factor of change has to be accounted for.
- Speaking with everybody involved with the project.
To manage these issues you can use pen and a notepad or probably MS EXCEL. But you get quite a few advantages if you choose to employ project tracking software:
