Automation is a popular term these days. IT companies are striving to promote their solutions. These products come in shiny boxes with lots of great characteristics, whistles and bells. During the analysis of various stuff management software programs, I found that its utilizing has more drawbacks than advantages. There are several reasons why I do not use it.

Reason 1: It requires some money. Almost all available employee management software is not freeware. In addition to starting fee, you must pay for maintenance, updates and support. Lots of people utilize this software regardless of how much does it cost. Pay for the software only in case when you are sure that it will pay for itself, otherwise, search for the more appropriate solutions.

The Customized Learning Experience Online (CLEO) Lab is a research collaboration between Cisco Systems, IBM, Microsoft and Thomson-NETg. The the CLEO Lab goal is to conduct focused, applied research on technical and pedagogical issues related to the ADL Sharable Content Reference Model (SCORM), an important compilation of e-learning interoperability specifications.

CLEO Lab research will suggest improvements to the ADL SCORM and other specification sets to enable a rich set of learning experiences built upon a foundation of interoperable content. The CLEO Lab is organized as a program of the IEEE Industry Standards and Technology Organization (IEEE-ISTO) which will manage the day-to-day activities of the project.
